BABYLON I
We live in a world trembling with fear. New wars burst open like wounds upon the earth, and the thunder of a possible world war echoes ever louder across the nations.
The ominous cry grows louder by the day: “Armageddon is coming!”
And mankind trembles.
Babylon V, the Empire of the Antichrist, is already rising on the hori-zon. The Globalists are stirring the pot, while people and nations des-perately long for the smallest spark of hope. This is the fifth beast of which the Jewish prophet Daniel spoke centuries ago, the Empire of Iron and Clay. A kingdom divided in its very nature, yet crushing in its power. But the story of Babylon does not begin with Babylon V. It be-gins with Babylon I.
And that is what makes Babylon I as relevant as the shining sun itself. Babylon I is the Empire of Gold, founded by the brilliant Nebuchad-nezzar II. Rarely is God’s gracious and wondrous involvement in the history of nations and peoples told with such power as in this breath-taking historical drama. Even the mighty Nebuchadnezzar II, a globalist to the core, was ultimately forced to bow and confess that the Creator is the God of heaven and earth.
For the center of power does not lie in Babylon, Rome, Washington, or Beijing. The true throne of power rests in the hands of the Almighty. He is Jesus Christ — King of all kings and Lord of all lords.
For those who believe, there is hope. For those who fear Him, there is salvation.
This is not merely a story. It is a battle cry of faith. A testimony that fills the believer’s heart with courage until he can beat his chest and proclaim:
“Let Armageddon come – I am ready for it!”
