Daniël aan koning Nebukadnésar: “U is ’n wrede man. In u woede het u riviere van onskuldige bloed laat vloei. God het u beklee met baie talente, groot mag en wysheid. Hy het Hom met groot wonders aan u geopenbaar, maar u dien net vir Nebukadnésar. U ontkenning van die Enige God ontstem onse Vader, en Hy sal u nie ongestraf laat bly nie.”

Nebukadnésar, opstandig: “Die God van Beltsasar, mag dalk bestaan, maar Hy is traag en stil soos ’n slapende reus. Wat help ’n wonderwerk elke tien jaar? Nee — die enigste god wat ek aanbid, is ek. Nebukadnésar is ’n god wat kán!”

Die voorafgaande tonele het afgespeel in die jare rondom 600 voor Christus, en tog word ons wêreld vandag weer deur dieselfde magte getakel: globalisme teen nasionalisme.

Die een kamp dors na wêreldheerskappy, rykdom, mag en prestige. ’n Mensgemaakte paradys sonder God, die komende Ryk van die Antichris. Die ander groep? Vryheid in ʼn eie land, sonder die kettings van Ryke.

Babilon I is só relevant soos die son wat skyn. Soos destyds, is daar weer oorloë — en gerugte van oorloë. Die wêreld beef onder die voetstappe van godlose, ambisieuse politici. Babilon V is op pad!

Die sentrum van mag is egter nie in Babel, Rome, Washington, of Beijing nie, maar in die hand van die Almagtige. Hy is Jesus Christus, die Koning van die konings. Vir hulle wat glo, is daar hoop. Vir hulle wat Hom vrees, is daar redding.

Czeslawa, the expression of this little Polish girl in three of this photo’s exposed what’s wrong in the world when savages are allowed to rule. Just like a flower bud, many children’s budding youth were trampled on mercilessly in Auschwitz long before they could blossom into adulthood.

Czeslawa. Only fourteen years old, but trapped and made brutally vulnerable to the barbarity of war and the sadism, hate and torture in a Nazi Concentration camp.

The story of this once vibrant-cheerful girl was written with great respect and admiration to pay tribute to her and the other hundreds of thousands children who not only lost their dreams and youth but their lives at the hands of the Germans.
